Tuffy was a great dog. he was actually part of the family. Every evening when we ate, he was always sitting beside the table waiting on his portion of the food. He was our friend and adventurer. He would go with Rusty every day and deliver newspapers and always walk Rusty and Lisha to the bus stop. When the bus came home, he came running to walk with us back home. Everyone in the neighborhood loved Tuffy. He would go to the Wertz's house and they would give him snacks. He did this all over the neighborhood. Rusty's parents had a creek in their backyard and Tuffy loved to play in the creek. Tuffy had 2 great dog friends, Flury and Clementine. They woiuld play together for hours. John Jr and Vasi was escorted to the dugout where the players all sit.John Jr was a fan of baseball, but never played it all that much. He told a few of the players about this and they decided to try to teach him how touse a bat. John Jr practiced how to use a bat while Vasi pitched a ball at him. 4. The game was going well for the Cleveland Guardians. The time came for John Jr to go up and bat. The first pitch, John Jr swung too high and missed the ball. The second pitch, John Jr was focused and hit the ball far out in right field. John Jr took off running and made it safely to 2nd base. 5. The next batter came out. He ended up sending the ball into the bleachers and made a home run. John Jr and that batter both made it back to the home plate safely. 6. John Jr returned back to dugout and all the teammates gathered around to praise him for a good job. The players give John Jr and Vasi a souvenir of the Guardians as an appreciation token. The Guardians beat the Reds and the game was over. 7. John Jr and Vasi leaves Progressive Field and head home. John Jr and Vasi talk about how fun it was all the way home.
