They put me in a small crate that didn’t feel like home. At night, it was too quiet, and my stomach tightened with longing. I whimpered softly, hoping Mom would hear me and come… but she didn’t. During the day, they let me run in the big yard. I sniffed every corner, searching for something familiar—but everything was new. And when evening came, and they tried to put me back in the crate… I wouldn’t let them! I ran, dodged, and jumped from side to side. I saw them laughing but also getting tired of chasing me. And little by little, I started to adjust. They loved me. They petted me. They smiled at me. Even her—the one who wasn’t sure at first—one day, she picked me up, looked into my eyes with softness, and whispered, “You’re so sweet.” And then I understood. I was home.

In return, Daisy showed George how to move more gracefully on the ground. “Step lightly,” she taught him. “Feel the ground under your hooves. Try to move like the wind – softly and swiftly.” George practiced every day. At first, he was a bit clumsy, but Daisy encouraged him. “You’re getting better!” she cheered. “Just keep trying!” “We’re helping each other,” Daisy replied proudly. “George is teaching me to reach new heights, and I’m helping him move gracefully.” From that day on, Daisy and George’s friendship grew even stronger, and soon other animals joined them. They realized that everyone had something special to offer.

John Jr and Hopsi started to practice the steps to make prudent decisions. Step 1: Take Counsel. One must take counsel carefully from one's self and others. ... Step 2: Judge Soundly. After deliberating with counsel, we fairly weigh all of the evidence. ... Step 3: Act. Once we judge the right thing to do, we must act. 6. John Jr and Hopsi decide it is best to understand the wisdom of his parents.
