The Storm Begins
Tom in storm
One windy night, Tom heard a loud noise coming from his closet. The wind howled outside, making the trees sway. Tom was scared. He thought there was a monster in the closet.

Tom covered himself with his blanket, trying to hide. The noise grew louder. He imagined a big, scary monster. Tom felt very scared.

Finally, Tom decided to be brave. He slowly got out of bed. Tom walked towards the closet. He was ready to face the monster.

With a shaking hand, Tom opened the closet door. It creaked loudly. Inside, he saw something move. Tom gasped in fear.

The moon shone through the window. It cast a shadow inside the closet. The 'monster' was just a shadow. Tom felt silly but relieved.

Tom looked closer. The 'monster' was a shadow of his coat. The wind made it move. Tom laughed at his fear.

Tom learned shadows can seem scary, but they're not monsters. He wasn't afraid anymore. Tom felt brave and smart. He went back to bed, feeling safe.

The next morning, Tom told his friends about the adventure. They were impressed. Tom felt proud. He had faced his fear and won.
