Mama and Me

It was a sunny day, perfect for a picnic. Mama and her baby sister Brianna went to the park. Mama spread out a blanket under a big tree. Brianna giggled as she sat on the soft blanket. Mama had packed a basket full of goodies!

Mama took out two shiny red apples. 'Let's count them, Brianna!' she said. Brianna clapped her hands as Mama held up the apples. Then, they spotted four little ladybugs crawling on a leaf. Brianna pointed with excitement as Mama counted them one by one.

As they ate their apples, they noticed ants marching by. 'Look, Brianna, there are so many!' said Mama. Together, they counted nineteen ants in a line. Brianna watched as fourteen birds flew high in the sky. Mama helped her count each one as they soared.

Nearby, eleven colorful flowers were growing. Mama and Brianna counted them with big smiles. Brianna wiggled her tiny toes, and Mama laughed. 'Let's count your ten little toes!' she said. They both giggled as they finished their counting adventure.
